We are advocates working to bring reform, regulation, and harm prevention public health policy to legalized gambling. We work in the private sector and at the federal, state, and local levels to develop a public health and harm prevention approach to the gambling establishment. Our focus includes advertising, promotion, affordability, VIP schemes, addictive gambling products, technology, partnerships, sponsorships, and much more.
Knowledge is power. We provide evidence based and factual information regarding legalized gambling, gambling disorder and the risks to public health. We focus on on mental and physical health, ethics, law, and science. We educate and inform the public, business community, government officials, regulators, industry officials, and concerned citizens. We bring reform, regulation, and harm prevention public health policy to legalized gambling. Lives and families are in the balance.
We are independent advocates and have no financial relationship with the gambling establishment. This separates the Ethical Gambling Reform Group from other organizations that are financially controlled by the gambling establishment. We adhere to the principle of beneficence and act solely in the best interest of individuals, families and society. Financial independence ensures that outside influences will not impact our work. Our mission is to bring reform, regulation and harm prevention public health policy to legalized gambling.
